-kawaki seems cool and he has cool fights. scratch that- kawaki is REALLY cool.

-haha, naruto taking a look at aggressive, lost, alone and sad kawaki and being like "i'm adopting," that tracks
-@ kawaki's childhood: oh bb, you're gonna be so loved in the leaf. the directing and the images in his backstory, it's like an entirely different anime. it's amazingly heart-wrenching and heavy and weighty.
-THE GOLDFISH SELLER WAS A TRAFFICKER?! i feel betrayed
-konohamaru and mugino feel like they had A Thing, just sayin'
-omg i love kawaki, i'm gonna cry, i'm finally interested in someone from the new gen
-i don't understand, we went from zero to 120% with kawaki and his backstory, how did things get so good so fast?!
-the flowers going in the vase reminding kawaki of the contraptions in the experiments and giving him ptsd, this is INSPIRED, who are you and what did you do to my boring boruto
-naruto getting all moony and dreamy and sunshiny thinking of his own best rival, down boy, we know you love sasuke
-lol, sasuke looking at sakura for her opinion on him teaching the chidori to sarada, that’s cute- oh god, wait, we have another man lighting up and going moony and dreamy thinking of his own rival, goddamn you two, you're impossible (ily)
-a story around fixing a vase has no right being as interesting as this, and yet.
-awww, kawaki and boruto did the unity sign
-momoshiki appearing for one sec just to farm aura <3 boruto is his vessel, right?
-YES, NOW i'm excited to watch this fight vs delta, this fight matters! that said, has naruto forgotten he has shadow clones, or... he's fairly nerfed, but he's doing alright ig, basically soloing delta

-sasuke still fights visually beautifully and farms aura as always <3 AND NARUTO FINALLY REMEMBERED HE CAN FIGHT WITH SHADOW CLONES
-"without you, it will all be hopeless!" "i feel the same way without you, sasuke" BOYS :')
-i understand you’re nerfing naruto and sasuke for the new gen to shine, but at least they had a good fight. still, it did feel like naruto and sasuke didn't utilize their entire skillset and idk how to feel about it. it's absurd that they ran out of chakra so fast, when in the great war they fought various enemies, juubi, madara, obito, kaguya AND EACH OTHER all in one go. i know sasuke mentioned dimension-hopping needing too much chakra, but still, that's TOO fast. it's unsatisfying, knowing their performance in shippuden. so yeah - a good fight in the context of boruto that harkens to the main parts of naruto's and sasuke's fighting techniques, but it pales compared to the shippuden fights.
-EYYY boruto and kawaki combined transportation ninjutsu to save naruto, this is GREAT, this is LEGIT something only they can do and no one has to get nerfed or undermined for them to do it!
-boro just might be the most despicable of the kara. revolting
-SARADA DOING THE CHIDORI AND GETTING THE CORE, GO GIRLIE GO!
-possessed by momoshiki so soon, i didn't expect that. HOLY PLANET-SIZED RASENGAN WHAT!

-jigen's grudge against sasuke is kinda funny XD usually everyone is "naruto naruto naruto," and jigen's like "no, screw that. sasuke."
-isshiki is a presence. finally a design with a presence

-boruto asking to wear sasuke's headband again is sweet, sasuke giving it to him and telling him it's valuable to him is sweet, he's always carrying it with him

-AHAHAHA i too assumed you just had to plant the juubi like a plant. feeding it an ootsutsuki makes more sense XD

-dare i say naruto looks better with the hair in speshul baryon mode than his actual hair
-AHAHAHA nerfing both naruto and sasuke in one go, truly equals in all things - live together, die together, get nerfed together (i knew about boruto stabbing the rinnegan, so no surprise there)
-am i not supposed to think "oh, so you're in love then?" when naruto says that sasuke and he are not brothers in the way that boruto and kawaki are brothers? like, that now that he's older, he identifies That Feeling at something different from brotherly love?
-so it's finally here, kurama's death that according to my readings made people angry. i knew about it, so i don't have any particular feeling about it other than "oh yeah, nerfed," but it's a nice farewell scene. that said, imma ask you to tread carefully on how much and in what ways this nerfs naruto, bc gaara also lost shusaku and he remained crazy strong.
-on the isshiki fight - an interesting fight. i still think naruto and particularly sasuke could've been utilized more, but boruto is what it is and in this context it was an interesting fight.
