i suspected this would happen, but. it hurt. it hurt so much.

the ep felt like it lasted three hours. such was the heaviness of the blow.

great choice to make it all so quiet. contrast nakamura's usual manic high energy with just quiet and silence. and the crying and panting... it was simultaneously exaggerated and absolutely normal for a teenager in this situation. because it's that kind of moment. just a moment in time that in the grand scheme of things doesn't merit sobs, it's a "dramatic" reaction, but also an unbearable moment that can't be let out with anything but sobs and running away.

Since November i’ve been showing my dad Naruto. Me and my brother been watching Naruto since it aired on toonami in 2005 but my dad never had an interest or paid attention. This is his first time watching it so now that we are done here is my collection of “comments my dad made while watching naruto” (a 60 yr old southern man from louisiana):

he kept calling kakashi “kakoochie” at the beginning 😭

other nicknames he had for characters atp were: shadow boy, bowl cut boy, bowl cut sexy man, and the perv

“i thought naruto liked sakura, why does he keep thinking bout kissing sasuke”

“snake man’s a fucking weirdo”

“oh so blond girl likes sakura that’s why she’s mean to her”

“i ain’t watching this demonic shit turn it off” *a day later* “turn naruto back on!”

“here he goes thinking bout sasuke again”

“u think naruto woulda made friends with the fox considering he was a loner”

“i think sasuke’s gay but i also think he secretly likes sakura”

“that picture of the blonde man looks just naruto everyone should just assume thats his dad”

“is fish boy gay for itachi” (fish boy = kisame)

“why is everyone is this show gay?”

“that kiss a lil weird now that they reincarnated brothers”

“well that sucks that tobito died again…when will kakashi die?” (bro why u want kakashi to die so bad😭)

“now they gonna kiss and say they love each-other” (when obito showed back up to say final words to kakashi)

“sasuke says he wants to kill naruto but really he’s saying he loves him”

other things he said i didn’t note were just predictions for things that he said should happen AND WHERE GOING TO if he just pays attention and keeps watching lol

I’m watching this anime called “Liar Game” and the first 9 minutes pissed me smooth tf off. How can the protagonist be that trusting and naive? Like, I am annoyed at Nao for being so trusting, knowing that’s people will see her honesty as her being a mark.

I tried watching Tougen Anki recently and actually really enjoyed it! But, like, how come the only female character that didn’t feel like a doormat or ecchi heroine, was first introduced assisting in the killing of an innocent child 😭
