I Should Be So Lucky || Chabbi
The past two weeks had been a whirlwind of emotions for Tabbi. While she enjoyed every moment at the ball with Brogan, Chase had been in the back of her mind the whole time. She'd succumbed to just... laying in bed with his sweatshirt all day, which sounded as if she was a lovesick puppy. It just felt like she was incomplete. Was that sickening? She didn't care. Tabbi had to find it in her to get up and go to her rehearsals, and she had to find it in her to perform. She just pretended that Chase was somewhere in that audience. She put on a smile and tried to touch the fans' hearts. It just... didn't seem to work anymore.
Though whenever Chase texted her and made her aware that he was just around the corner, she sprung from her bed. Her hair was tied into a messy bun atop her head, but she'd managed to pull on a pair of denim shorts and a tie dye t-shirt before practically running down the stairs. It had been quite some time since she'd erupted from her bedroom like that, so her mother tilted her head to the side, watching the firey red hair fly out the front door and down the sidewalk, to where the woman spotted Chase Rollins.
Tabbi was barefoot. She could feel the pavement, hot beneath her feet, but she didn't have a care in the world. She wrapped her arms around Chase's neck and pressed her lips to his, just kissing him because she could, because he was there....
and because he was hers, after all.
