"Hello!"
The ginger version of you is dead.
"You mean…?"
Smiles.
Laughter.
They floated through his head.
Dead? No, not her. She couldn’t be. She’d promised—Oh, it didn’t matter what she’d promised him or he’d promised her.
His knees were weak and his eyes were stinging. His voice came out as a dull croak. “Thanks for telling me."
Why do emotions have to exist? the darkest corners of his mind whispered at him as he sank down, sitting, rubbing his hands over his face. We could always talk to the Cybermen…
No, hope whispered back.
And he remembered every moment with her all at once, every touch, kiss, and dance… especially the kisses. He loved kissing her, running with her, being with her.
Vaguely, he felt his hearts break.
Without his permission, tears rolled down his face.
It wasn’t until he tasted salt in his mouth until he realized just how much of an effect she’d had on him, or just how much he’d loved her.
My Body is a Cage || For finallygingersadlyfemale
Recently, the Doctor had felt nothing but pain. Shaking, his eyes clenched shut and his jaw locked, his hands tightly griped the edge of the console. Loathing shot through him again as he pictured her dying. An explosion. Trying to save Earth, again. She couldn’t have waited for him… Of course, he had stopped the escape pod that the few survivors had managed to find and crushed it immediately. He had cried. Broken down, collapsed, his hands tightly clenched and his breathing ragged. He screamed in anger and frustration, and raw pain. He cried out for her, the words ringing down the hallway and vaulting around the console room. No smiling, flouncing ginger woman to greet him, press her lips to his forehead, take away the hurt. He eventually wiped at his face, standing unsteadily as he reached the console.
And that was where he still stood, still as a statue. Today, the wonders of space held nothing for him. He yearned for her. His body was a cage, the only thing keeping him from the woman he loved. Quietly, reverently, he whispered her name—her true name, the one hidden so long. A prayer. And with it… a confession. “I love you.”
The TARDIS, its hum silence, had a dull whine to offer. And still his female counterpart would not appear… He sobbed once, biting down hard on his bottom lip as the sound echoed around the console room. She was gone. Images flickered before his eyes, all of his memories of her. And finally, their first meeting. She had been beautiful to him then, but he had been so unknowing that she would become so much to him. She was his everything.
He closed his eyes, picturing her as he whispered, “Please.”
He was offered no respite from his solitude.
//I love the fact that you chose the moment that I got onto mobile as the time to get on. *rolls away*

“Wanted Dead or Alive” by Bon Jovi
The Doctor blinked her sleepiness away as she sat up, a small frown forming as she heard the knock. Pushing away the comforter, she got out of bed and padded to the window. There was a pause as she took in what was the soaked counterpart of hers. Pushing the window open, she motioned with her head for him to come in. "Come on, my little wet puppy. Lets get you out of that rain, hm?" She quickly set out to grab a towel and make a pot of coffee; she expected to be awake for a bit because of him.
“Sorry,” he muttered as he took the towel from her. “I didn’t really have anywhere else to go.”
He dried off his hair and then wrapped the towel around his shoulders, shivering. “I was getting chased by a pack of Hoix—you know, the Weevil-type things? We encountered them when we met Elton for the first time when he was an adult?—and I lost them, but then it was raining and I couldn’t find the TARDIS…”
He trailed off, making a face. “Sorry.”
♥ //hehehEHEHEHEHEHEH *flies away because most adorable ship I've ever had*
Doctor,
I like you way too much
You’re the most beautiful person I’ve
I’m so glad I met
So this was going to be sappy and terrible, but I’ll give it to you straight. You’re a beautiful, lovely woman, Doctor, and I would gladly spend the rest of my travels with you… If you’d stay, that is. Please, do.
Always,the Doctor
"What the hell..." She mumbled, eyeing him with a ghost of a smile on her lips. "Might as well..." Practically lunging forward, the Doctor took his face in her hands and pressed her lips to his. ((THIS SHIP SAILS ITSELF *rolls away*))
He was shocked for just a moment, but relaxed into it, kissing her back and wrapping his arms tightly around her.
((THAT IT DOES *runs flailing into the sunset*))
