It's been a lot to process, all this police brutaility and violence going on over there in the US. I woke up in the middle of the night thinking what to do to help, feeling like penning poetry was fri olous and self-indulgent while folks are out protesting, getting their hands elbow deep in the muck. I figure while my life has been out of the US, I can help by avoiding online shopping and reposting stuff about the financial boycotts planned...and encourage my stateside people to participate and make their voices heard. 👊🏾 #blacklivesmatter #financialboycott #dosomething #violenceisnottheanswer
