Of course!

So Finch! he/him they/them pronouns

They are an elsen from Zone 3, as well as Enoch's head scientist. They're tasked with researching further into the nature of sugar, with Enoch hoping that will lead to maximizing the substance's production. They have a specific fascination with Burnts/burning as an elsen's reaction to stress, for 2 main reasons:

Finch's body has places that are perpetually burning, and those spots are only spreading. They would like to expand their knowledge on this part of elsens' biological processes to hopefully resolve their condition.

Burning seems to have a positive connection to an elsen's levels of sugar production. Positive as in an elsen who has burned and recovered produces more sugar at the end of their life than one that hasn't. Though exactly why and any additional exploration is a part of the story I wanna tell in Project GoldFinch, so the rest will be saved for another time.

yeah also Finch is a lil' cannibal, so let's explore that a little, haha. I mention in presenting 'Project GoldFinch' that Finch has an addiction to sugar, but it's actually so severe that if they don't eat sugar (or cough sugar-adjacent elsen flesh) they would become sick and die. Their job as head researcher is really the only thing keeping them alive, Enoch effectively feeding them to continue their work on increasing the zone's overall sugar production. It started as a joke but quickly developed into actual lore that Finch has their own individual sugar prescription because they eat SO much more sugar compared to the average elsen, since that's all they can eat.

Not sure if this will go farther than tests, but I'm making my own little fangame! Tentatively called "Project GoldFinch", it would follow a small elsen from Zone 3, Finch, trying to escape from under the control of both Enoch and their addiction to sugar.

Here's pretty much everything I've made of this project so far. No promises I'll take it further, but I'm happy with what I've managed to make over these past few days. Please excuse the default chipsets. I just make facesprites and charsets lol

All of these are just screenshots of the files. I kinda want to keep fiddling with them, and I don't want to share files I'd be changing later. Plus I don't want people to use them since they're either mine or a friend's ocs..
