Chapter 1: http://tostadasheep.tumblr.com/post/62338726210/finding-gavin-chapter-1
The guys need to get out of the Nether ASAP, but something goes wrong, and the lads and gents are separated with no portal to send them back to the city. This wouldn’t be so bad— they know their way back from the ravine—but Gavin is missing, and night is falling.
Warnings: Strong Language, Cuteness
Pairings: Possible implied Mavin

"Guys? Guys? Is anyone there? Why aren’t we in Achievement City?”
Gavin couldn’t see anything. He’d figured out a while ago that he’d spawned underground after reaching the Portal, but he didn’t have any torches with him, so he had to get by by feeling around the walls and hoping there weren’t any sudden drops.
It seemed like he was in a pretty open area. His voice echoed slightly when he spoke, but it was impossible to tell when he couldn’t see beyond the tip of his nose.
Then Gavin heard something. It sounded like a footstep.
"Michael?"
Gavin wasn’t graced with a reply, but he was answered by an arrow narrowly missing him.
"Ahhh! You’re not Michael!" he began inching along the wall to get away, "Sod off, you skeletal prick!"
Another arrow bounced off the wall behind him, and Gavin guessed the skeleton couldn’t see him either.
He needed to find some coal so he could build a torch or something. That way he’d at least be able to see. But in order to find coal, he needed to see! Why was life so difficult? “How am I supposed to do anything when I can’t see where I am?”
The wall suddenly broke off, and whatever path there might have been continued around the corner. That would protect him from the skeleton’s arrows in any case.
"I guess I’ll do a dig up." He suggested to himself. "I’ll find sky eventually, right?"
He began to go at the wall with a pickaxe, angling his path upward. It would be slow going, but mining was better than sitting around in the dark. Alone.
"I wonder what happened to to everyone else," Gavin wondered aloud as he hacked at the rock in front of him. They should have been transported to Achievement City, but obviously that wasn’t the case. Gavin didn’t think about that for too long, though. It was more important to get out than wonder how he got in. He was just glad he hadn’t spawned inside a wall.
Gavin paused to shudder.
It seemed like it was becoming easier to mine. Maybe he was closer to the top than he thought. Gavin reached out in front of him and his suspicions were confirmed. Dirt.
He kept going. It was only a matter of time at this point, and his pickaxe was still going strong. Eventually the block in front of him fell away and his tunnel was filled with soft blue light. The moon was full and bright, and the air was cool and crisp, much the the contrast of Gavin’s underground prison.
Gavin took a moment to breathe in the night air and admire his own handiwork. He’d have to head down there some day with torches and see what he missed.
Despite the moonlight, it was still terribly dark out that night, and Gavin didn’t notice the zombie until he heard it growl from directly behind him.
"Bullocks! " Gavin yelled, startled and drew his sword. He swung at the zombie, and let out a breath he hadn’t realized he had been holding when it toppled over. He was lucky he hadn’t been hurt.
Gavin knew he had to get somewhere safe as soon as possible or he’d only get mobbed by more monsters. If he was lucky, all he’d have to do would be to make a bee-line straight to Achievement City and-
Which way was Achievement City?
Which way was anything?
"Where the Hell am I??"
