Thanksgiving
Slade and Peri had worked on the turkey and it was definitely unique. Whether everyone would like it remained to be seen, but hey, it smelled good, so that was a plus. The table was set and Slade was putting the finishing touches on the food and awaiting his guests. He knew Benji was bringing at least one person, and Jan was coming. “I think we’re all set. It’s just a matter of waiting for the guests to arrive.”
