I love how our professor had prepared a book specifically for us and we just have to pay her KRW3,500 for the book.. I like everything in and about the book.. please do this sort of activity book for those who in the midst of developing Korean Language curriculum for Malaysian students.. I surely think that they can understand better.. #findingMariamLog #LoveYourself #Serendipity Day 13: Log 1 I had finished my 3 classes for today.. those subjects are Korean Language and Culture, Introduction to Research Method and Analysis of Market and Public Policy.. 1st class starts at 830 am and last class finished about 410 pm. Even though I have 3 classes today, the pressure is not as much as yesterday because we don't have any homework just yet.. we will be having assignment in next classes thou.. The hurdle that I have to endure is to finished my assignment due tomorrow which is to prepare a 3 minutes presentation of a non-develop country as a subject matter for our final project.. the country to be chosen must have a GDP below USD10,000.. I choose my own country.. Malaysia of course.. knowing that I will be having too many classes today and I can't predict how much I assignment may be given, I decided to burn some afternoon, evening and midnight oils to finished my 2 slides presentation.. I just finished it at almost 6 pm today.. In total, I may have been spending around 8 - 10 hours the most to finished this assignment.. I will present it tomorrow so tonight I will do a slight practice to just sync my presentation to be precisely 3 Minutes as the given time.. submission has to be black and white printing with 2 slides per page. No MS Word but ONLY use MS Power Point. Those hours I spend were for gathering information, drafting my slides (the hardest coz the maximum limit are 2 slides), pick up the most relevant information to share and finally preparing the slide presentation and finishing.. #findingMariamLog #LoveYourself Day 12: Log 1 Date: Sept, 4th FIRST DAY CLASS!!! It's just started.. Honeymoon is so over and today is the very first class.. I would like to summarize my 1st day of the semester with 5 points only: 1. Everyone is nervous so what? 2. Most of us was so early like 40 mins ahead of time.. my first class was at 10.20 am.. we were early coz we need to tag our attendance and pick a seat.. unfortunately, the kiosk didn't work out alright so.. let see tomorrow.. attendance tag can only be done 30 mins before class starts 3. This week is still a shopping period for subjects.. I'm taking all core subjects and Languages that are all required for graduation (after consulting with my academic advisor.. yes, we have an academic advisor).. I'm not going to shopped for courses.. I will endure.. 4. The first class was alright and our professor is amazing.. yet, he demands and gave homework all the time.. we have homework due This Wednesday.. 5. Emart is actually one of a famous hypermarket in South Korea. Besides emart, we also have homeplus, shinsegae, lottemart and ect.. personally, emart is my favorite.. More info: www.emart.ssg.com My self exploration starts with using an apps called kakaomap. A substitute for Google map that I used in Malaysia. From the map, you can see that the distance between my school and emart is only 5km away but the journey to emart is not as simple as it seems.. unless I use a car. Details as follows: Mode of transportation: BRT 215 & 560 Source of direction: kakaomap Start of direction: 한국개발연구원 (this is the name of the bus stop nearest KDI where I board in the bus) End of direction: 이마트 세종특별자지시 Like I said before, money is not my concern but timing is.. I choose to take the route which requires me to transfer from one bus to another.. First I take the bus 215 to 세종고속시외바스터미널 (Sejong Express Bus Terminal).. there will be approximately 7 stops before reaching Sejong Bus Terminal. Later I took a 560 Bus to Emart and there are 6 stops before I reach emart.. Detials were shown in photos..
#findingMariamLog #LoveYourself Day 11: Log 1 Today I decided to go and had an adventure by myself to look for emart in Sejong.. Emart has always been my favorite shopping place in South Korea.. There are two ways to go there from my school.. the shorter route or the longer route.. each route has its pro and con.. it is time vs money.. Today, I am go against the time so money is not my main concern.. with this route, I have to take two busses means twice transportation fees.. ... To be continue (at 이마트 세종점)

I will enjoy snacks while I'm using my brain to do some thinking.. ie while doing some work or just watching movies or dramas.. Here, I would like to share some of snacks that I love and so happy to be able to find it here.. the brand can be anything.. You can see the rice pop.. i think this is the healthiest snack in my list.. I just love it.. then cheese balls... Cheese rings... Whatever cheese.. and the last one is the dried fish snack.. this one is amazing because.. it is like airfried I think.. it is just oil-less... #healthyfooddoesnothelptoeaseanxiety

Then, we have Sejong City Tour and visited a few interesting places as beautiful landmark that can be found in the Adninistrative City of Sejong.. Indeed Sejong is a very modern and wonderful place. After this tour, I has a better understanding and my fondness towards this city had increased rapidly.. Indeed Sejong is a very beautiful city.. when we went to the Sejong PR Centre, we were briefed in details about this magnificent man made city and every single details of the explanation living me at awe.. It has not fully developed and more to come.. I will surely come and visit when this City has become matured and I wish them all the best to create a live living example of a new smart city..
