I just finished the glass work on a commission last night, and grouted this morning! Client was to pick up this evening. While positioning my piece outside to quickly snap a photo, a gust of wind had other plans! On the positive side, only one of the two panes broke! I have already replaced the one pane with clear glass and will design that area again! Day 58 of lockdown.

Wfh

Hot and sunny again today. I had to keep taking breaks to sit in the shade outside.

Issy was feeling better after a day feeling unwell yesterday.

Lunch was a relaxing affair in the shade between the shed and the wall of the house.

Tea was an unadventurous spaghetti and tomato sauce.

I finally finished watching suits today.

Our latest Tesco delivery arrived tonight. The driver made me shut the door while he unloaded it all outside in a big pile and then I was allowed back outside once he'd finished.

Watched Stephanie at La Lande again tonight.

Felt sick and dizzy so went to bed early...11.30 which is early for me. I am due to go into work tomorrow. Hope I feel better.

The upside of Autumn 🍁 is soup for dinner. 🍲🍵🍜 1. I get to use up and those bitza things in the veg draw 🥦🥕🌽🍠🧅🧄 2. Dinner is already done and it’s not even lunchtime yet 🤩💪🏼 3. Everyone in my family seems to like soup so I’m not being a short order cook as usual 👩🏻‍🍳 4. If I make a big enough pot there is plenty to freeze in batches for those just can’t face the kitchen times. I usually freeze in single serves and defrost to go with a cheese toastier on the side ... coz let’s face it .. who doesn’t love a toastie 😍🧀🥪 5.
