I'm thinking of putting Haven on hiatus and working on an AU about Tom being a primary school teacher who begins an affair with the mother of one of his students whose husband is both mentally and physically abusive to her. It's an idea that has floated around in my head for years. What do you guys think?
Oh dear. I’m sure the readers of Haven will understand if you put it on hiatus. As for the AU idea, I think it could be a very unique read. Teacher Tom having an affair with the mother of a student hasn’t been done before, that I know of, so I say go for it! I know I’d like to read something like that.
