Fine House, Locked A/C

Stayed for a week in a place in FL. House was fine(as described) but the Nest A/C was locked between 75-83 degrees. I can’t sleep well when I’m hot and being from a colder place 75 degrees can feel quite hot to me. Not only was it locked but it was listed as a rule to not set it below the limit on a list of printed rules. Am I unreasonable to be irritated about that? I’d like to mention it in my review but is that just something I should’ve expected? I’ve only stayed in one other Airbnb before and they just told me to set the AC to a higher temp when leaving the house for the day which seemed a lot more reasonable to me. “Maybe we need to be broken, so we can appreciate how whole we once were…” The struggle of having virtually no quad muscle has been just as emotionally challenging as it has been physical. It makes me sad to look at this small withered away leg, and it is extremely frustrating that I can’t even do a leg lift on my own yet. I’ve tried to keep this quote in mind. How many times have I gone on amazing adventures and taken for granted my body’s ability to do all these things? Looking back through old memories, I feel gratitude, as well as motivation and determination to get back to doing fun adventurous things.

Beautiful, warm, relaxing spring. It makes all the miserable winter moments worth it just to swing here and feel the warmth on my skin, smell the flowers blooming and feel at ease.
