Spent a couple of hours tonight welding together a SWAG Off Road finger break for my 20t hydraulic press. I bought the goose neck die kit at the same time and welded all the pieces for it together at the same time. My hope/plan is that this will add to the functionality of the press and I will use it more than the current couple times a year. It needs to pull more weight in the shop due to the amount of real estate it takes up. Also swapped out the jack, added castors, a shelf, & other bells&whistles. My first project is to bend up some 1/4” thick hefty steel shelf brackets this weekend. That one job will pay for the cost of the goose neck dies and 1/3 the cost of the break kit.
