first 100 words for my first short story...this feels both hilarious and horrendously embarrassing...lmao
i have the general plot down, but even though i could easily make this a short fic, i genuinely want to challenge myself to do something more than the bare minimum with this. i miss how enjoyable writing and imagining the plot used to be. and i spend far too much time worrying about the work being perfect that i tend to forget that drafts exist for a reason, and that proofreading can sometimes inspire additional content/better edits to the story.
