So, today was A level results day, and things were crazy. Last night, I couldn't sleep, and I was waking up every half an hour checking the time. This morning, I logged into Track, to see that I'd been accepted into Aston, which was such a relief. It made everything feel so much better, knowing that I had somewhere to go. My entry requirements were BBB, so I was confident that I would have BBB or higher, or maybe BBC if I was unlucky. So, I want to school and opened my results. I was so, so happy to see the two As, but honestly, I was disappointed. I thought I did poorly in chemistry, and I know I deserved a D, but no one wants a D on their paper, so that was a bit annoying. The C in biology killed me though. I worked so hard for that, getting such high grades in my lesson, and my teacher said I would definitely get an A, so I was going, hoping for a B. When I saw the C, I felt so disappointed. I've had so many people tell me that these grades are decent, and Alhamdullilah, I got what I needed, but, I can't help but want that B. I guess sometimes you've got to accept less than perfect. Thank you to everyone I've met through a levels, you've helped me so much, whether that was through advice, academic help, or just by being a friend. This chapter of my life is finally over and I'm ready to move on. I've got a year to get my life together, before starting Aston university in September 2018 to do my psychology degree and I'm so happy. Let me know how you all did, and if anyone is feeling a bit low, I'm here to talk to ❤
