As Reese cried out in his labor, his children were unable to provide any support, or even acknowledge that anything particularly strange or special was happening upstairs.

After it was over, Reese looked into the dark eyes of his youngest baby, a girl, named Luna for the shining full moon that was hanging just outside the window. He was exhausted, but he still felt the little one tug at his heart the way his first two had. 

For all the trouble it was for him to raise his children alone, he truly did love them.
