OKAY KIDS SIT DOWN CAUSE IM GONNA GET REAL FOR A MOMENT Today I went to the beach for the first time during the summer. And let me tell you I had a great time and I sunk my toes into the sand and I looked at the ocean and had a moment. A real godamn moment. One of those times where you can just see the world for what it is and feel totally at peace because you have found the truth. The truth of the damn world and let me tell you about the truth i found. The ocean is huge. Fucking big man. It’s this whole other world, whole being right beside us. The ocean is alive man and it’s always got something to say. It can kill you, drown you in a second or let you and your dog play in it. The ocean is also old, older than the rest of us. It once consumed the earth, we all use to be underwater and you know what- it can fucking do it again. I stood in that godamn ocean and I heard what it had to say. It fucking told me to never be scared. Go forth and conquer, you bitch. You’ve got a destiny and you get to shape it. The world is huge, life is complicated but fuck it- you’re standing in the ocean. You are who you are and that is all we have. Even the ocean can not change itself and it won’t. It doesn’t need to. If anyone tries to change it it’ll just drown their sorry ass. That’s what the ocean gave me today. Do not ever be scared and do not ever change for others- this is your life and the world is too big to not go out and find your destiny in.
