One of the best things I received from my mom from her trip to Finland is this book about the Lotta-Svärd from 1941. The Lottat were women who served in WWII as sort of nurses (hoping to learn more about it with this book). My great grandmother was one and she received the highest Medal of Honor for her service in said war. I've always admired her courage and tenacity and I miss her greatly.
