The Book of Mormon or The Falls B)

okay this is gonna be like a whole paragraph of me trying to decide

Book of Mormon has all the fun songs and happiness and what not. It also has a minor character who happens to be closeted gay. And I honestly love Elder McKinley so much. Whenever I do Book of Mormon roleplays or write fanfiction, it’s always from his perspective because I have this whole personality and backstory plotted for him in my head and that’s a major reason why Book of Mormon is amazing.

But then, The Falls was just an amazing movie. It’s so beautiful and RJ and Chris are adorable (like especially Chris. I think I have a thing for gay ginger-haired Mormons). And, unlike Book of Mormon, the gay characters aren’t flamboyant stereotypes (even though I have some headcanon shit that explains why McKinley is like that. Not that there’s anything wrong with it, I just get annoyed with gay stereotypes very easily and I’m pretty sure if RJ and Chris were stereotypical I probably would not have liked the movie). The movie also genuinely made me cry, and I’ve come up with so many headcanons for things that happened in it. I also took a bunch of screenshots from both the first one and the second one and all the parallels just made me so happy. 

But also Book of Mormon is so much happier and I love musicals and I love pretty much all the characters in Book of Mormon. 

In the end, I’m gonna have to go with Book of Mormon because I’ve been familiar with it longer plus the fandom is amazing. Also, the whole “musical” aspect of it is a big bonus.
