Scotland near Finzean, 1934
Yesterday I tagged along with Inverurie Ramblers for a walk through a part of Scotland I've never visited before - Finzean and the lovely forests along the Water of Feugh. It's just outside the Cairngorms National Park but no less beautiful for it.
I've mentioned before that I'm trying to work my way around all 54 Ramblers Scotland groups before my time as president is up.....and as my 18th, Inverurie mean I'm a third of the way through! :)
Inverurie Ramblers walk in their neck of the Aberdeenshire woods (and occasionally beyond) every other Sunday. Their next walk is a 10 mile stroll up Culblean Hill above Cambus o'May, on 23rd Sept. Details on the Ramblers website:http://www.ramblers.org.uk/inverurie
