October 9. Today in South Korea, is another public holiday. Koreans in South Korea celebrate HANGUL DAY (North Korea celebrates every January 15). Hangul Day commemorates the invention and the proclamation of Hangul or Chosungul (한글; 조선글), the alphabet of the Korean language, by the 15th-century Korean monarch Sejong the Great. "Wah...pergi Korea kelak cari oppa ohh.." Yes it's a joke. I get it. Funny. I love making jokes especially on my favourite actor, Gong Yoo; I playfully nicknamed his as Abang G, my Korean imaginary nampyeon (husband). Tapi tiap kali tanya "dah jumpa jodoh kah?" I wonder, is everyone offering to be matchmaker? Saja la kan, saya pun sekadar bertanya. Friends, my intention of coming to Seoul is of various reasons. Personal mostly. Meeting a partner here is the last thing on my mind. Really. I'm glad I've been a chance to explore this amazing city. A nation so unique. I have witnessed the good and the bad sides here. I have learned a lot. As long as I am healthy and (hopefully) my bank account will be filled with lots of RMs again one day, I will come back and say: "Annyeong!
