i bingewatched ted lasso bc of ur username and ur header and honestly??? such a good show. very happy i watched it tbh bc s1 never thought i'd sympathize w jamie tartt.. and here we are!! and nate's whole arc was sonuanced and well done i think!!!!!!! also legit never thought i'd care abt football as this show made me feel but thats ur power babeyyy <3

I spent the biggest chunk of my childhood in school libraries and with books in fiction/ya etc. I knew not a shit abt comics until i was in uni. I didn't even know they had 'comics' in india until I moved to the city for uni. i only learnt in uni that asterisk and tintin were comics my friends had been familiar w their entire lives. I am not from the city. idk if it's bc my friends have the privilege of growing up in North Calcutta, which is the den of the historical elite of Bengal. but comics are not really an universal experience. and I was an avid reader in school.

Literally ditto! I was an avid reader too! I remember hoarding monthly panchatantra issues, science magazines, local folklore and Tenali Rama stories, amongst other things. It was only last year that I tried to go to a crossword to see if they had any comics (cause crosswords are the only bookstores you see, and they don’t stock an impressive or diverse collection) and they didn’t have any. And i grew up in Mumbai, but also not the ‘elite’ south Bombay, rich people area; most people wouldn’t even call it Mumbai. I had to travel 3 hours a day at 5am to get to college, just sayin! I’m guessing the people who did grow up there (or any western/elite/tourist spot) probably had a better, more western inventory of books to choose from.

So yeah, comics are not a universal experience! Also it was so nice getting an ask for once and I follow you but I had no idea you were Indian too! Hope you have a lovely day✨

do we think it might've been Beth's mysterious connection to Doolan of the Assembly? is it possible that Veth recommended her husband or something bc when she was in her goblin form fjord asked her "does he know you?" and as Nott, she replied, "no. not "me." I might be reading into it still but... thought this might just be a point to be noted, is all!

OH HONESTLY POSSIBLE! I forgot about Doolan and my brain tends to default to assuming she stole something from her in Nott form but that’s not accurate. 

HRM. I have so many questions and no answers.

your compilation video is my favorite episode of Crit Role. its what keeps me going on some days tbh, cant thank you enough.

I am so unbelievably happy that people enjoy that compilation. I was really hoping as I made it that maybe someone would find it useful, and to know that that’s been the case for not one but many people is so gratifying

I think ‘watching’ would be generously put, because I typically don’t have 3-5 hours a week to sit down and watch the entire thing, and I started getting more into them only this year, so I have a huge catch up game to play, but do I stay vaguely up to date and go through the TimeStamps almost every episode and then skip around randomly to watch more? Absolutely. Did I watch compilations of all Scanlan’s songs? Did I cry like a baby in the Wedding Special, though I’ve not watched CR 1, and even made weepy text posts? Also absolutely.

So, yes! You’re not imposing at all, I love that you’d come here to talk about this - anything, really.  You can always do that, ask box or DMs or whatever!! Your art is gorgeous for both parts of the diagram!!
