Return of Frost~

This is an older Character of mine that I actually used to RP with a lot. For awhile I have been wanting to play with (and by play with I mean torture) this shit lord so here we are. I am honestly thinking of reopening that account to dick around with him again. His broody aesthetic always made me really, really happy and working with his color scheme is super freakin’ fun.

I could never for the life of me ever nail a solid look for his outfit, kinda liking this one though but would like to push it more.

I’m posting these two lines together becuase they’re the Ares Pokemon. They are part of my childhood pipe dream: The Zodiac League. Where basically there were 12 Gym Leaders instead of 8 and instead of Type Focus they had Thematic focus. However there weren’t enough Pokemon that represented each Zodiac. So I had to invent a few. But I procrastinated on inventing them for most of my life. Now they’re here.

So we start with the Zodiac, Ares, a Zodiac with the associated element of fire so... this was easy to do. Ares is the Ram and there are, like, different kinds of Rams, so I went with one sheep and one goat.

The Goat ram is a little simple as far as Pokemon go, simple concept, weird goats that look fiery. The punny names are what I like the most.

I’m most proud of Solamb and Arays becuase the concept behind them is that their fleece shines so bright that in the distance at night you can mistaken them for the rising sun. So that’s the idea, giant sun balls. Also it’s sort of unique becuase most fire type Pokemon are so explicitly all about fire, so these are fairies becuase I wanted a stronger association with light an more directly the sun.

Also in case I wasn’t obvious enough you can clearly see the Ares Ram symbol on the faces of all four of these Pokemon and in their grown stages the symbol morphs directly into the horns.

((Hey guys, just to let you know i have added a couple of new pages to my blog. One is a rules page, cause, you know. everyone needs some rules. And the other is a basic bio of my character for you. I tells you what he is and who he is a bit. Not a full detailed background bio cause I want you guys to actually get interested into interacting with my character.hopefully this will give you some better understanding as to what he is and why he is like the way he is though. enjoy! =3
