is it just me or Momina Duraid completely overreacted by banning Firdous Jamal for his comments? I dont think she even condemned mohsin abbas or ali zafar
These people don’t ban Ali Zafar, Yasir Hussein or Mohsin Abbas Haider with their controversies. Hamza Abbasi gets to star in their shows and movies but Firdous Jamal makes a sexist and ageist comment (which many have made in the past btw) and he gets banned? I mean, that’s quiet an overreaction imo.
Momina’s “ban” took away from the unity and support the industry showed for Mahira, because people understood that these comments are outdated and now considered unexceptable. Because now people are making this issue into Hum is only banning Jamal because it’s their fav Mahira or what about the years he put into the industry. Sadly, in all of this, Mahira is being targeted.
