baby, that is a dream. A DREAM. you hear me? and obi would not be bothered in the slightest, in fact, he’d think it’s funny (and even call it a good workout for his back). like obi is broad, so just there’s gotta be a stretch of your thighs around his back to get them to his sides, but trust and believe you are secure with this man holding your legs. and you know obi is warm (it’s canon that his back is big and warm, thank u Shinra), he has to be. like there’s not much more I could ask for, because this sounds perfect. also, you know I vibe with Obi because we’re both Aries babies, which means nothing, but the energy of this man.... sigh. I’ll take him please, send him my way. (my brain gets stuck on straight stupid when he comes around.... uwu i love him.) I’m sure this would be a common occurrence though, it’s such a simple way to show affection, but also fulfills obi’s workout desires.
imagine it’s early morning, and you’re still half asleep, which is fine if your boyfriend wasn’t dedicated to getting a workout whenever he could. (which, we won’t complain because those muscles look good on the fire force calendar.)

which... your boyfriend playfully complains about your lack of trust. he’s better than that, and he isn’t going to drop you. (I absolutely would trust him with my life especially when I’m half-sleep.)
okay, so if you’re in the fire force, this is probably a common sight around company 8
if you don’t, and you happen to be at the cathedral due to spending the night in obi’s bed, well, it’s not surprising when the other members of company 8 see it, but it’s amusing
especially when arthur and shinra see your feet and arms hanging from obi and think something is wrong (Arthur is the one who thinks the captain may be a beast — arthur, baby, your dumbness is both adorable and hilarious). shinra is just confused
and then you wave from over obi’s shoulder, and then obi adjusts you and your head pops up, and now it’s like OHHHHHH
if you’re still half-sleep or fully asleep again, obi will introduce you as his sleepy baby and turn and pose like the proud boyfriend and lover he is
if you’re awake, you can introduce yourself, but obi will call you his baby or whatever pet name he’s decided on for the next few minutes before continuing to carry you around the cathedral
at least until you get tired of being carried, or he wakes you up with some breakfast.
