Brass Sparkier.

Kindly sent by the good folks at Survival depot to test out the solid brass sparkier is similar to the wheel and flint type ignition systems found on certain types of lighter and when it comes to fire lighting I believe you can never have to many back ups  .

It ships with a tinder quick tinder tab and x3 spare flints and weighs just 8 grams. In use its just like sparking a lighter so lends itself well to one handed fire lighting operations , both the tinder tab and the tinder paper circle Ive tried both ignited quick if you fluff up one corner to give the sparks something to catch too .

I plan to test this out on several of my favorite tinder's both man made and of course natural and reckon it will be a good back up to fire steel and lighter combinations .
