Fire squad // Avatar The Last Airbender
Ok but in a modern AU, this squad would have 100% roleplayed Warrior Cats with each other and you can’t convince me otherwise.
Mai is that emo girl who hisses at people in algebra class.
Azula gets sent to the principal’s office for biting.
Zuko adamantly denies participating in this but is secretly the most into it, has a notebook full of drawings of his catsona.
Ty Lee licks her wrists like a cat and says “rawr xd” (yes including the xd out loud).
They would be peak 2000s middle school cringe and I’m here for it.
Same rope you climb up on, they'll hang you with
Ozai: You left the Fire Nation to live in a library with an owl?
Zhao: Giant owl. Scary dude. Can't remember his name. Washington or whatever.
Ann: People tell me I have a unique way of lighting up the room.
Makoto: It’s called arson and those people are witnesses.
Even when I rhyme about the future, I be reminiscin’
This song was recorded and released in 2014 as part of 2014 Forest Hills Drive -- the album that cemented Cole’s position in the game.
Video was recorded in 2014 but remained unreleased until...
Last week. Around the same time, he also re-uploaded his once deleted music videos. I think it’s calculated move. A way for us to re-embark on this journey, one last time, to see his rise and eventual fall (or stepping away from the game).
Cole’s first mixtape was called The Come Up. Then came The Warm Up, Friday Night Lights, and his debut studio album Cole World: The Sideline Story.
Throughout his journey and career, we saw him climb from being an unsigned artist to becoming one of the greatest rappers of all time.
“Ain't gonna be no more kings Be wary of any man that claims Because deep down he clings onto the need for power In reality he's a coward Ultimately he's scared to die And sometimes so am I But when I'm in tune with the most high I realize, the fear lies in my lack of awareness of the other side Today I know that we are the same, are the same, you and I Different kind of skin, different set of eyes Two different minds, but only one God It's for all the kings 'Cause I know deep down every poet just wanna be loved”
His next album will be called The Fall Off (as referenced by KOD’s final track, titled “1985 -- Intro to The Fall Off”). I think it’s going to be his last album. Death to ego. The Fall Off --> letting go of the throne because it’s not what’s important to him.
Last year, Cole announced that The Fall Off would drop in 2020.
The last Friday of the Fall season is Dec 18th.
Something’s coming.
The Fall Off.
