Fireball 500 (1966, William Asher)

A pair of classic moonshine runner flicks. Both with theme songs by their stars. Thunder Road is a more straight-up crime-noir thriller, with excellent acting by Robert Mitchum. Fireball 500 may be one of the weirder ones I’ve seen - with the Frankie-Annette Beach film look and sound, but with a darker, grimier streak shining through every once and again. Bottoms up!
