Fictional disease time - Cornuorbital growth, defined as the abnormal growth of horns in and around the eye socket. It comes in two forms, progressive and congenital.

Congenital is when the horns grow from the eye sockets since spawning. This quite often means that the eyes or one of the eyes don't develop. This is incurable and has no treatment, since the growth plate for the horn is located in the eye socket. Void Star has this.

Progressive is where the original growth plate is either on the brows or cheekbones and slowly migrates over time into the eye socket. While it is genetic, it can be dormant and get triggered by stress, causing rapid growth in the affected areas. It can be mitigated by shaving down the affected horn or taking specific medications. Firebrand has the stress effected strain.

Both are genetic, being a recessive trait - congenital being recessive to progressive - and are rare in the population (maybe 1 in in 10,000 spawned).

Cornuorbital conditions are part of a broader group of cornuoccular conditions, including ingrown horns (where the horn tip grows into the eye) and when the natural growth of a horn goes over the eye but doesn't cause injury (Like Spray Paint). Both can be mitigated by shaving down the horn.

Sword - a little bland, but tastes like apple!! A little bit of red licorice. 7/10

Skateboard - Same as Sword, but with a little bit of cola! 7/10

Biograft - It is metal... But then again it did tasted like clean, smooth, cold metal! A little icy due to them being in Blackrock. 10/10 (Yes I am biased)

Banhammer - Ooooo! An interesting flavor, a nice velvety chocolate with a bit of lava! 9/10

Katana - Tastes a bit like apple fritters! 8/10

Rocket - Blueberry with a bit of flint and powder from explosions! An exciting yet explosive flavor. 8/10

Slingshot - Tastes like pastries! Creamy and with a bit of a latte esque flavor! 9/10

Hyperlaser - Yes I know his horns are damaged but that didn't stop me... Anyway, a bit salty and like a licorice flavor. 6/10

Shuriken - Lime and seaweed! A nice flavor, though a bit salty. 7/10

Scythe - Tastes like murder, sin, and blood! With a bit of a bitter and dense taste, though with a bit of a lemony taste. 6/10

Medkit - Pretty minty as well! Though a bit more chocolately and velvety than Slingshot. And a little bit of coffee too! 9/10

Boombox - Lime and Pear! A great combo, very strong taste. 10/10

Subspace - Ehhhh... Expected, his horns tasted yucky. But I did sense a bit of red velvet cake and cherry! 3/10

Vinestaff - Cherry blossom and mochi, very chewwy!! 8/10

Coil - The orange one tasted a bit tangy and orange-y! Definitely seemed like a real orange slice. His teal one however tasted like vanilla fudge! 9/10

Darkheart - I can practically taste te millenias of chaotic darkness... And seaweed. 6/10

Firebrand - It was hot, burnt my tongue, tasted like lava.. But also like a fruit bowl! 7/10

Ghostwalker - ... Vanila-y water. 2/10

Icedagger - Tasted like an icy popsicle! Nice icy texture. 9/10

Illumina - Vanila, creamy, strong flavor, a bit like grape though! 7/10

Vemonshank - Nearly died of vemon... Though more tasty than Subspace because of a very mossy flavor! 5/10

Windforce - Felt like tasting a very sour lighting bolt, though a very lemony one. 5/10

Ghosdeeri - basically Ghostwalker, but... Like a blueberry tart. 6/10

Traffic - TANGY. ORANGE. WEED. 10/10

Dom - Grape, velvety strong chocolate with a bit of rose! 9/10

Valk - lemon, sour, a bit like pizza! 8/10

Lord Pwn - Mulberry?? A bit bitter too. 4/10

The Broker - Black licorice and bitter coffee. 2/10

B. Zuka - Latte for some reason and... Like a blueberry muffin. Definitely very firm texture however! (also like coffee for some reason) 7/10

Overall, horns are very tasteful!... Even when they basically are infested with rot and drugs. Still trying to get the rotting tastes because Subspace is basically a garbage red velvet cake-

I think someone already came up with a hc like this but i had been thinking about it for a bit now...

so someone once said that some inphernals permanently smell like something related to their gear such as umbrella permanently smelling like rain

I kinda wanted to expand on that a bit and say what characters I think would have permanent smells as well :3

~ vinestaff would smell like flowers no doubt, specifically sakura flowers or lotuses

~ void star would smell like old books (not like you'd manage to get close enough to smell her without probably getting your head ripped off...)

~ grav would smell like the ocean

~ spray paint and paint bucket would smell like art supplies (rainbeau wouldn't bc he doesn't have an art related gear💔)

And now for the sfoth!! :3

~ illumina and darkheart wouldn't have a smell, like at all. the smell, whatever it was, literally disappears when one of them is around.

~ firebrand would smell like smoke and/or burning wood

~ windforce would have that smell of after a storm in a hot summer if yk what I mean

~ ghostwalker would smell like dead air, but a lighter version I think? like it wouldnt cause any kind of disturbance and whatnot to the people around him, it's just the smell if it makes sense

~ icedagger would smell like a start of the winter breeze

•”Blue Lips by Regina Spektor” REALLY fits Katana

•Vine Staff, due to her curse, is able to see in ultraviolet light. A lot of plants look way prettier under ultraviolet light (which is how bugs such as butterflies and bees see them), and it’d be another reason as to why Vine Staff loves plants sm. A small fact but this also means she’d be able to see birds such as crows or ravens look way more colorful compared to the normal Inphernal eye

•Umbrella used to be Windforce’s servant before working under Firebrand. It’s stated in their wiki page that they used to be from Playground, and it’s interesting how despite as we know they’re Firebrand’s advisor, they have cloud trimmings on their coat and an umbrella for a gear, both things commonly associated with the weather instead of something like a fire. Their horns are also similarly curled to Windforce’s and they also have scars on their face - which both could also just be a coincidence, since Playground is considered the most violent faction (even more interesting since Umbrella is very neat compared to basically the rest of the Playgroundian population), but at the same time we don’t know how Windforce would treat anyone working under her.

I don’t think Umbrella would’ve been old enough to take care of Ban Hammer when he was little since it’s only stated that they’re “in their 50s”, but Umbrella would’ve been at least old enough to take care of Flipside, which means they could’ve been working for Windforce around their 20s-30s (since it’s implied Umbrella cared for Flipside when Firebrand disappeared 10 years prior, making them be in their 40s). They likely still would’ve had a role as an advisor to Windforce since out of all deities she probablyyyy needs an advisor the most. Plus since it’s stated that Windforce and Firebrand are close, then Umbrella would’ve been sent to Firebrand by Windforce since he’s the first person Windforce would’ve thought to send Umbrella to when she got tired of them (plus Umbrella would’ve had to of made a name for themselves somehow as a mortal-working-for-deities to be hired by the literal king of Crossroads as an ADVISOR)

•The Egobworder Skateboard skin is a universe where Skate becomes an apprentice to Windforce, due to their similar color palette and also the armor n helmet being similar. Me and a friend of mine said that this could be the same universe Coil 2.0 is in and the reason Skate became Windforce’s apprentice was so he could become strong enough to save Coil from Blackrock.

- Wind, storms, weather etc

- War (this is mostly from her personality tbh)

- Side note, wanted to make her Patron of Women, but since the inpherno doesnt seem to have like. gender roles? plus the whole everyone being inherently agender thing, it didnt fit very well

Icedagger

- Ice, snow, winter, blizzards etc cold stuff

- Youth, children, innocence (cuz. well, youngest sfoth)

- Has some death connections (think of it like how certain gods in greek mythos have diff aspects? yeah; the cold is well. pretty unforgiving, cruel etc etc. especially since he brings blizzards. so this would be interpreted into him being close w ghostwalker i suppose)

- Guidance, hope, the soul (kinda from the butterfly imagery, idk this one was more so vibes. also slightly based on Psyche, the greek goddess)

Venomshank

- Plague, disease, undead (by extension, he'd also be responsible for medicine, but more so in the prevention way than the cure/treat way. he is wearing a plague *doctor* mask after all)

- Wilderness, wild animals? (based off the going rabid thing. also connects to the disease thing because. rabies)

- Sacred animal is the crow (sisyphus!!!)

Ghostwalker

- The dead, spirits, the underworld type stuff

- Poetry, stories, history, recordkeeping (based off the fact that he was the one who created the watchers aka ghosdeeri)

- A psychopomp for the inpherno (maybe some of the watchers he's created help with it?)

Darkheart

- Chaos, trickery, deceit

- Trade, travellers and pathways (similar to hermes, mostly cuz i wanted to give him mor domains but also bcs of the fact that he was the one you traded stuff with for bux during phestivals) (i wrote this before the ditf update where he opens doors n shit so uh. yes)

- maybe rot or decay? (based on their design, w the wings resembling dead wood)

Illumina

- The mind, knowledge, cunning (his main domains r more. concepts n stuff instead of physical things)

- Unity (based on the sfoth qna)

- Dreams, prophecy (mostly cuz of vibes tbh idk.)

The SFOTH Siblings+fam have a way of 'calling' or otherwise contacting eachother without the use of any phones or like tech or anything. They do this by tracing or lightly carving different icons/symbols that represent a different memeber of the family onto their forearm.

The list of Icons is:

Firebrand: a little fire :D

Windforce: lightning bolt (based on the pattern thing on her helm bc i didnt know what to call the leaf decoration things she has at the top of her helm :'])

Ghostdagger: the star shape thing that's on the handle of his sword (idk what it's called-)

Illumina: the symbol thing thats repeating in a loop around his horn. Something similar to that probably.

Darkheart: a smile (think Cheshire cat type smile. I hate DH /pos)

Venomshank: the upside down cross thing he has on his hat. That.

Icedagger: a little snowball or like snowflake or smth idk i feel like he should have smth a little cuter :>

Valk: the general shape of his glasses. Because why not

Dom: i feel like a CD or record or something would fit him. Either that or just like a speaker icon or smth bc well megaphone.

Banhammer: Hammer. No other option, just hammer.

Sword(I feel like he should be included in this): either a little sword or a 3-chain link thing (like, 3 links of a chain or smth idk)

They all got to choose what they wanted their little icon symbol thing to be too. Like, one day they all got together (before firebrand just like fucking poofed) and decided "Ok we're gunna do this weird magic spell thing (magical world hccccc) and be able to call eachother to us in a time of need" blah blah blah.

The way it worked was like everyone had to draw the rough shape of the symbol they wanted to 'call them' on their own forearm, then like share a specially made drink with everyone they wanted to be able to 'call for them' (the drink is just like some herbal tea with rare and exotic herbs from crazy places in the Inlherno or some shit)

Idk it sounds cooler in my head probably but oh well. Might show this to a friend so they came make an au out of it for the other blog lol

I've been thinking abt these a lot lately so have some hcs abt what I think the SFOTH would eat(also first time here hello hi!!)

Windforce - meats, poultry- steaks at a rare or medium rare :D woman could absolutely DEMOLISH a BBQ. Eat all of the food in seconds. Really likes savory stuff

Firebrand - idk why, fish. I think he'd like salmon or something fancy, he is a king after all:)

Venomshank - I think he'd like spicy stuff, either that or it would be really bland. Like barely seasoned chicken and such...maybe if he were to crave like flesh or anything cuz of zombie stuff he'd take like. A super rare steak.

Darkheart - fast food out of boredom. Considering they don't have to really eat, I think they wouldn't care to eat. So they'd probably get some cheap, fast food(prolly the phighting equivalent of mcdonalds)

Illumina - he wouldn't care for something made by mortals, but he would probably like something like caviar. Very salty stuff for a salty guy lolz...either that or it would be unbelievably bland chicken. Nothing he eats is seasoned probably.

Ghostwalker - I don't think he would really eat? The whole no mouth deal for starters, and then also I just don't think he would...

Icedagger - deserts. All of them. Cakes, cinnamon rolls, pies- all of the deserts give them all to him he lives those things, probably has a stash, nobody can top the sugar fiend this guy is actually he's insane about the stuff.
