"Excuse me, taichou?" Since Hisagi has (directly or otherwise) been dodging a visit to their injured captain, he has taken initiative. "I hope I'm not intruding, sir. I came to learn how you're doing." He's… doing his best not to use "see" in his sentences. Tousen had never minded its use in his presence, but he had been blind all his life. For a case of sudden blindness (which, they all hope, may yet be temporary), it's best to be tactful, especially given Muguruma's temperament.
“Is that you, Satoru?” Kensei inquired though he knew from his fourth seat his voice but he decided he had to be certain given the circumstances. Sitting outdoors under the large tree by their home, he was dressed in a plain sleeveless yukuta, he shook his bandaged head at the younger man. He was glad to have him reporting so soon after his discharge. “It’s no intrusion. Thank you for coming by. I’m doing as well as can be expected given the circumstances.” Such a mature response that made him snort soon after. He did catch his use of learn instead of see and decided to pick on that.
“It’s fine for you to say see you know. I won’t eat your head off if you do.” Surprisingly enough he was calm and not at all irritable. Maybe it was because he was back home and out of that disinfectant ridden fourth division. “Come sit and tell me how my division’s doing. But first give me a report on the Tsukishima.” He didn’t know how his 7th seat was doing after he had managed to flee the scene.
