2025 Year in Review!
As I think back to the events of the past year, I think I should say a few thanks. It’s been a privilege to meet so many firefighters this past year, and to learn their names and see them around at fires. They’ve invited me to their firehalls, hired me to take crew photos, and given me station patches, among many other kind gestures. It’s also been a great privilege to be able to witness the work that they all do every day. From the smallest single source alarm call to the massive third-alarm fire on Scollard Street, they carry themselves with the same professionalism and regard for the job. They’ve been a profoundly welcoming community of people, and made me even prouder to be a citizen of Toronto, served by the Toronto firefighters.
