You Guys...I Just Almost Died...

Well, not really, but still.

So, I'm in my room & I hear the fire alarm going off. I get up to go check what's on in the kitchen & there is a little fire coming from underneath a pan, but there's a top on it so I don't know what's in it.

I automatically grab the flour a'cuz my mommy said that puts out grease fires (which I've seen it do before) & I'm throwing it on there, but it's not going out.

So then, I call my mom & I guess she could tell by my voice it was an emergency because she asked what was wrong, and I'm just like "It's on fire!!"

She jumps up & follows me, goes "Shit" and grabs the flour from me & is throwing it.

The shit is STILL not going out....matter fact it starts burning the flour.

Luckily, she remembered the little mini fire extinguisher (it's a little shorter & skinnier than the regular ones) by the microwave, but she couldn't find the button because there was smoke in her eyes & I looked & didn't see it, so I gave it back and thought she would figure it out. The fire was still small, so I leave the kitchen & grab a big pillow from the couch and start fanning by where the alarm is because I got tired of hearing it.

All of a sudden I hear her go "Shit!!" again & I could tell it was more serious. I turn the corner & see this big ass orange glow. The fire was muuuch bigger now. I automatically grabbed the fire extinguisher again, except this time my hand went straight to the button (I didn't even think about it, I have no clue why I didn't figure it out the first time. Adrenaline maybe?...and I also realized that my mom had it backwards. I guess she only knows how to use the big ones lol)

And then I pressed it, and BAM, fire go bye, bye.

Smoke goes EVERYWHERE.

My mom goes outside to breathe, and I'm fanning.

Here comes my punk ass step dad, the fucking idiot who left the stove on -___-

He runs in the kitchen from wherever the hell he was outside talking to whoever he was talking to tryna play "Captain Save The Day." NO, NO, NO bruh, the situation has already been handled no thanks to you.

We're assuming that he didn't turn the grease all the way off after he fried some fish/french fires earlier...and if we're right about him leaving it on, it's been on for a good 3/4 hours now which is probably why it wouldn't go out.

After all that, we're sitting outside so we can breathe, and I realize that my cat is still inside so I had to go back in to save her. 1) She wouldn't come out when I called her like she usually does & 2) After I saw her head peek out, I had to actually remove her from her cage thing (like on of the traveling ones) because she was being a scaredy cat (literally! lmao) and wouldn't walk out on her own.

I was the hero...again lol

And this dumb ass cat, who was DYING to go sit outside the front door earlier is trying to run back inside. YOU FUCKING NINCOMPOOP. Do you want to die? lol I ended up having to hold her in my lap, while she's peeking at the door trying to figure out what's going on inside. After a while, this bitch starts half ass growling at me because I wouldn't let her go. She NEVER growls so that was funny lmao After about 15/20 minutes, the smoke FINALLY went away enough that we could go back in & I let her nosey ass run free. The saying "Curiosity killed the cat" makes so much sense now. She would have stayed in there with all that smoke just to see what was going on. You know what she does when I let her go though? She lays down! -_____- Like, forreal bro? lol

The smell in here is horrible right now. My eyes are still burning & I still have a tickle in my throat, but other than that, I'm cool.

All I know is, if I wouldn't have been awake things could have been much worse because my mom told me she didn't even hear the alarm go off since she was on her way to sleep. The kitchen could have legit ass been burning up.

Should I call myself a hero again? lol
