En'en no Shōbōtai: I.D. By Cidergirl After translating ‘SPARK-AGAIN’ I decided to do the ED song ‘I.D’ and... Remember how I said the song is catchy yet for all I know it’s depressing as fuck? Yeah uh... It’s depressing as fuck. Well not really, but it does speak of the person/character - who I perceive to be Shinra - as someone who is lost and struggles to find value in their life. It was hard to translate this as the English was broken as hell but I was able to make the song and story it tells flow nicely. This is just a rough draft of the translation I have made so I may update it, but for now, enjoy : )

(A faintly growing memory, one I know that is so dear to me)

(I do get tired of all the hate I see…)

(I didn’t choose to be the devil that they all see...)
