yall. I've been using firefox for a while now and i will always recommend it to everyone for so many reasons, but I discovered Firefox Focus on my phone the other day and I have never been happier.

it has built in ad-blockers

I know firefox has always been good for protecting your data from tracking you across sites unlike other browsers such as Chrome who thrive on it, but I love how I can go to the same page across these different browsers, and Focus is the one that won't have 2345678987 ads interrupting whatever i'm reading

I highly encourage y'all to at least try it

Making a separate post for this because it took me a while to find a solution to blocking ads on the YouTube mobile app. It’s not a perfect solution but it’s worked consistently for me for the last 2 weeks or so.

You can watch YouTube ad-free using Firefox Focus, which blocks ads and other trackers natively within the app. The only downside is that every time you boot up the app and head over to YouTube, you’ll have to sign in each time, and if you have 2 factor authentication you’ll have to confirm that each time as well. Again, it isn’t perfect, but I’ve been watching Crisspy’s Tavern using this method without any issues. And as I haven’t found a better alternative atm, I thought it would help others who were either unaware or having issues with finding any sort of solution.
