Firefighter Bachelor Auction
Just a hunk, a hunk of burning love

The House of Blues, Sunset Strip was the site for the 2nd Annual Fireman’s Brew Bachelor Auction on Thursday night, August 30th. Fourteen of LA’s bravest, including a half dozen of our own LAFD members, were auctioned live to benefit two great charitable organizations – the Los Angeles Firemen’s Relief Association’s Widows, Orphans and Disabled Firemen’s Fund, and the Los Angeles County Firefighter Memorial Committee Widows and Orphans Fund.
The night was emceed by KIIS-FM radio personality Sisanie who was joined on-stage by a professional auctioneer. Throughout the night local 80’s cover band Flashback Heart Attack hammered out the background music and played songs like “Cowboy” by Kid Rock and “Fireman” by Lil Wayne while the firefighters enticed the bidders. In addition to the bachelor auction taking center stage, event-goers were able to bid on a wide variety of high-ticket raffle prizes, the proceeds also benefitting the firefighter charities.
