Alright so Zelena’s Monster High friends are Saorise Screams (Scarah’s older sister), Firenanda Long (Jinafire’s cousin) and Gemma Lin (daughter of a Gremlin)
Gemma and Firenanda met in fashion club and were best friends first, then Zelena was the new ghoul and she met Saorise first, then they all eventually crossed paths and became best friends. Zelena goes to Monster High cause in that universe, she’s not a bug star or anything so she can have actual friendships there (she travels there with a magic mirror, kinda like Cupid traveled from Monster High to Ever After High). She poses there as the daughter of a witch, and while she’s not exactly lying, she’s not technically a monster but nobody needs to know that
