Look at her with her hands on her hips. What a boss.
We love Anna Torv playing girl bosses!

Lally Robinson on Fires Episode Three - Part Two
Lally: Adrian?
Adrian: Yeah?
L: I can't do this.
A: Can't do what?
L: I can't stay.
A: We know what we're doing. Look, we've got a plan.
L: That's just a piece of paper and it's not going to protect us.
A: Hey, come on. You're okay.
L: I'm not. I'm so fucking scared. I know that you might not be, but I am. I do not want to die in a fire, and I don't want you to die in a fire. I want us to go. I just want us to go.
A: I'm sorry that you spent the night alone.
L: Oh my god.
A: Okay? I'm sorry that you got scared.
L: Please Adrian, I'm begging you. I want to leave and I want you to come with me.
A: Everything we have is in this house. All the energy...I don't have it in me. I can't do that all over again. This was supposed to be the place we were going to grow old together, Lal. I can't leave it.
L: Please. I mean, it's just a fucking house. I can't stay.
A: Well, the road should still be clear, if you go now.
....
The script in this scene was too important to leave out. Lally is right. Your bushfire plan is just a piece of paper and will not save you. Your house is just a house. The most important thing is your survival - your life. It’s so hard thinking about losing all the things you love but your life cannot be replaced. Please - get yourself to safety whilst you have the chance. Be like Lally.
What a strong and vulnerable woman Lally Robinson is. A role model! I adore her.
Lally Robinson in Fires Episode Three - Part Eight (and one of the most important messages that I will ever share)
Oh Lally, darling.
Poor sweetheart.
I’ve got so much warmth for her. She’s been through hell and back.
Lally Robinson in Fires Episode Three - Part Seven (and I want to hug this lady)
Although this episode of Fires lacked the monstrous beast of an actual fire being present, I personally believe this was the most horrifying of them all. It’s like The Babadook of the Fires cinematic universe - more of a psychological horror film; how even just the threat of fires and danger can drive someone to the point of insanity, without the beast being physically there. Not only just illustrated with Lally, but also Mark Leonard Winter’s character Joel too.
It bloody hurts to think real people faced this horror!
Lally spiralling to a point of insanity was so hard to watch. She was so alone and frightened and it made me feel sick that she was even there in the first place. If that partner of hers really loved her, he would want to protect her and send her as far away as possible, not keep her there in danger. A vile man. This wonderful woman deserves better!
Lally Robinson on Fires Episode Three - Part Six (and I am feeling so many things for Lally. The poor woman!)
“You know what Adrian, don’t tell me what to do!”
YES LALLY. You tell him. Good girl!
Adrian is an ARSE.
How dare he listen to her whilst she’s feeling so frightened and brush that off. Gross!
Lally Robinson on Fires Episode Three - Part Five (and Lally being a big boss)
These nighttime scenes sent chills up my spine.
Watching Lally slowly fall apart and her chastising herself to “keep your shit together, Lal” is heartbreaking.
What a strong woman. She’s a lot stronger than I ever would have been in that situation.
Lally Robinson on Fires Episode Three - Part Four (and Lally starting to lose her shit)
The cinematography in this show is STUNNING and so atmospheric yet terrifying.
Lally really does look at home in her surroundings. She truly does belong there at La Casa.
Lally Robinson on Fires Episode Three - Part Three (and Lally being as beautiful as the bush around her)
