Muscatite AKA Purple beryl (not irl name!)

Muscatite, aka Telekinetic enforcers! They can become briefly intangible to dodge attacks, their hair often floats and is often prehensile, and this one is Yellow's! In the Crystalline empire with white+yellow+pink+blue, theyre part of specialized teams used to hunt down fugitives. and pry gemstones out of people, their needle-like fingers make plucking the stone easy. In the Bedrock Federation, Theyre part of crisis response teams, often teaming with titaniums to help subdue gems whose powers and emotions are too much to keep down without help- Theyre security guards where titaniums are therapists. Together they can absorb and suppress gems until they can calm down and be treated/talked to.

Spitblossom family(Phegmosa Serpentina)

Serpents tongue is an old folk remedy from homestead, for organics it helps with headaches and rashes as either tea or part of ointment, and for gems it can be made into a weak healing agent for gems with minor etchings or miniscule fractures. It's universally agreed to be sweet, but organics think real sugar tastes better than spitblossom. The whole plant can be ground down at any lifestage for a small amount of nephrite, jadeite, zoistite, and trace amounts of ruby.

Firework diamond, The most extroverted and laid back of diamonds while simultaneously the most industrious. From formation until the end of era 1, He stays close to him and his mother's more animal-like biology and flaunts it when he can. Him and his mother are star-born and therefore "solidified" diamonds of this universe's VY Canis Majoris, the main 4 are of standard rocky planet yet unconfirmed to be reference to any irl planet. Firework is the son of Iridescent, born with innate curiosity and a strange drive to both live life well and help others do so. Both him and his mother favor organics heavily, their "conquest" being between embassadors and translators rather than soldiers and squadrons. His form has many animalistic traits like any solidified diamond. His emerge in the form of feathers, claws, paw pads, and a littany of pseudo-biological quirks that make him comparable to an owlbear. He prides himself on creating new things and being in touch with culture and gems- Aka, he loves consuming information. He and his mother always have and always will outpower white severely on any scale applied, but firework keeps eye-level with white when theyre on homeworld.... but usually him and his mother average about 20 feet tall when theyre not around any diamonds to perform for. His powers revolved around perception and response. His aura is like a fog and it forcibly calms gems. He's also a dreamwalker and he can also eavesdrop on gems senses and feel when they interact with him indirectly through their power. For example: Garnet fusions tend to get a stiff look as a notice, he'll address them directly if they continue prodding in his timeline without permission. dont touch the beard. the beard is his baby. him beard tucked in robe make him tiddy look big. heheheh.

Initiated by Firework Diamond" Firework sighs, inspecting the live feed from one of the many oceans in Homestead biodomes like his own personal fish tank while he waits out the ride to Homeworld "The ability to survive is one that life seems to answer simply until other questions arise. A miracle of existence in my opinion is something inconspicuous: Algae. Tiny colonies of microscopic survivors living on water and sunlight in whatever environment they find themselves in, a remarkable achievement in a universe so vast and full of harm. it spreads across land and sea with ease and slow movement, impossible to fully stop and just as hard to be stopped by it. It is, by all definitions, A durable life-arrangement.." His pearl chimes in, quiet and calm "Speaking of arrangements, remind me why Iridescence is leading this envoy to Homeworld, my diamond?" He glances down at her, and then back at his screen to start tapping out landing sequences "...We're to intercept and declare connection with a new diamond. Mother insists she's going to be damaged psychologically if we don't intervene. What are some of the favorite drinks of our diamonds

We know iridescent loves her wine, even though it could shatter even fireworks with how potent it can get, but it has a relatively no to little effect on her

But what is firework’s favorite drink

Using this as an excuse to drop a plant from Homestead: Crackwhip flavored anything. The berries are his favorite fruit, and he's liable to spike anything with it. He regularly makes wine with it, mild stuff meant more for drinking all night without getting too drunk. The petals are nice to fry I hear, plus anything you make with it is gonna be hot fuckin pink. For flavor reference, imagine a mango and a strawberry and a ginger mixed together- its also a little metallic, but I think he likes it. The vine is technically parasitic, and it'll eat at people's gems if it roots under it, but you can also mix the berries with spitblossom mucilage (another flower i'll post later) And it makes healing minor chips and scratches even faster.

His spouses are subject to millions of kisses after he eats the berries straight, using the opportunity to stain them with hot pink kisses cuz hes a goofy goddamned goober that loves his polizardamourous spouses and likes being extra.

Solidified vs Photodynamic gems

Firework and Iridescence create gems like them- Solid of form. What does this mean? Star-born diamonds are naturally "solid". Their bodies are much denser with light and have internal structure. Cutting limbs off doesn't dissipate them, and they have organic-like structures in their body. For example, solid gems have biological features such as tertiary gender traits and genital expression. Solid gems cant make other gems solid- and diamonds can only solidify other diamonds. Diamonds seeded from star-born diamonds may not be solidified if not themselves formed in a star. What does all this mean? It means that their gems are very close to organic structures in many ways and severed limbs can often be reattached before they have a chance to dissipate. It also means that firework and iridescent can use this to their advantage. Iridescent has prehensile essence but she often has smoke sessions firework from a big ole hookah and the exhale smoke has a surprising concentration. Firework's essence can be extracted this way too but for him its more a natural grime. Its literally his equivalent of sweat and dirt buildup. It doesn't spread easily and has to be literally washed off. His hair often holds the most because his hair and beard are his children to him. they both have standards of properties for basic measurements in case their essence needs dilution or concentration, so their gems can know what to do for consistency of substsance. Fireworks essence creates bold and curious individuals, often with deep senses of calm and a kind of intuition that makes them consistently both very charismatic and unsettling in a way that doesnt come out until battle. Iridescence creates more protective, guardian-like gems wise beyond their millienia right out the gate. Firework's essence creates gems with contrasting accents, often manifesting as colored neon glowy tips on the hair in a complimentary color, Iridescence has a tendency toward more generally multicolor gems.
