Balls and gowns

8 years old, that’s the age of their youngest daughter Sofia now. The well known age for being allowed to attend a royal ball and get into public.  In about two days there would be a royal ball coming up. One where they will be celebrating Sofia’s first appearance in public.  A huge amount of things still had to get arranged, most of the things were getting directed by Snow who had a touch of detail that David didn’t have.  “Snow? Are you in here?” he said as he entered their bedroom. “Do you know where Sofia is?” @ravenhairedbandit ; @sofiaruthnolan

What's the most memorable gala that you've ever found yourself in attendance to? What made it so memorable?

“I think it had to be my first.” His brows draw together as he thinks back. “I had watched my mother and father get ready so many times, sitting at my mother’s vanity and playing with her jewelry. She would ask my sister to pick out her dress and me to pick out the jewelry with it” Jes’champe laughs lowly, “Thinking back, I bet she carried extras with her as I am sure I didn’t pick correctly most of the time, but it was lovely to spend that time with them.” Spinning a sharply pointed letter opener in his palm, “My father took me to his tailor and had my first tuxedo made. It was my sister’s coming out party and I was to be her escort, it was all very proper. Much to my chagrin at the time, I had been forced to take dance classes for six months, I would rather have been riding. I should send my mother flowers for that as I love to dance now, and I love the look in my partner’s eyes when we are locked together, the power of the music keeping us bound together in that moment of time.”
