Hyundai’s best-seller gets a facelift and packs in more technology than ever before
It’s interesting to note how Hyundai’s smallest SUV, the Venue, is a 52 percent contributor to its SUV sales and also makes up for a staggering 22 percent of its total sales in India. It is thus one of the most important models for Hyundai, especially when you consider the fact that the compact SUV segment is currently the largest one in our market. And launched in 2019, the Venue was quick to climb to the top of the compact SUV segment and Hyundai claims to have sold three lakh units in as many years. Let’s not forget that includes nearly two years of the COVID-19 pandemic! And in a bid to continue the Venue’s successful run in the compact SUV segment, Hyundai has just given the SUV a serious makeover, also upping its premium quotient in the process.
