I don't know if they showed it on TV, but the WHOLE audiance stood up during Ukraine's performance at yesterday's ESC semifinal. So many people were carrying Ukranian flags even though they were from another competing country. It was quite a beautiful thing to see

Watching the first semifinal of Eurovision (yes, I'm late)

Thoughts so far:

Norway is going to score really high, isn't it? Got to give it to them, it's a good song.

I don't think Malta will qualify but I do like the song? That sax is life.

Serbian singer's voice is way too soft and I don't really like the song because of it.

Good effort from Latvia but it's a no for me.

No, but really, finally Portugal comes in with a song that's NOT melancholic and I LOVE it, I do hope we score well this year because Mimicat deserves it.

I'm sorry, is it just me or is Switzerland's song VERY similar to another song from a few years back also centered around water guns? I can't just be me, can it? It's just so familiar.

I know Israel is a favorite this year but it's not my fav, it's very good though and will definitely go to the final.

I do like Moldova though, it's really catchy and gives me "Stefania" vibes and pagan vibes. I like it, hope they make the final.
