We have raised $104. I have $500 to put in, it’s all my savings. 

We need $3500. 

If you have $5 to drop in, you’d be supporting art in a tangible way, helping a student create something, and I would owe you my life. I’ve watched my friends from film school make amazing movies and win awards and I’ve supported them from my little scholarship kid corner, wishing I could do what their parents can help them do. 

If you take a look, I bet you’ll love the movie! It’s a kids heist movie in a church, who doesn’t want to steal from church? We have some amazing perks availible including having your name hidden in the movie, behind the scenes information, and a day on set! (either in person or we can facetime, i gotchu)

Hopefully, others will disagree. I would hate it if a lot of people felt the same way I do. I adore Shanola and think she is very talented and have no doubt she will go on to direct more episodes of television.

Okay gang, I've bragged about my show last spring (Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap) many times here, but I got a bit of news that means I get to brag a little more. My show (!) was the most profitable show ever staged in that theater by the college. That was due to varying levels of thrift in the production, designers all being great about saving money, and performances that led to word of mouth advertising and sell-out shows. I'm so very proud and I hope that this bit of news leads me to more directing gigs, especially since most other productions in the area turn out bloated, clunky, and expensive. I know how to put together a show that fucking makes money, which just doesn't happen in my area in middle Ohio.

So, I’m doing auditions for my film, and we’ve gotten over 70 actors auditioning. Like??? My mind is legitimately blown. 

People are actually interested in this little short film, and the script that I’ve written, and it’s really surreal 

i can’t remember if I’ve made a post like this before? but even if I did, I can’t stress how thankful I am that actors want to portray my characters 

like, damn. it’s pretty amazing. And the fact that we’re close to 100 people interested in being a part of my film??????? c r a z y

We get to see the day-in-the-life point of view of an abled-bodied girl, living as an outcast in a disabled world; forced to endure bullying, stereotypes, and discrimination on a daily basis, all the while as she can only dream to be like “the rest of them”. But how far will a person go to be considered ‘normal’?...
