Orianna’s rather black and white view of Right and Wrong, has some rather strained relationships with her peers.
Trahearne
Orianna respects Trahearne as both the eldest, and the wisest. However, she’d always viewed his wyld hunt as a death sentence, and distanced herself to save any grieving later down the line. Of course, when he surprised everyone by actually completing his task, Ori was left feeling horribly guilty. They’re both trying to be friends now, but they’re both very awkward so their talks are never long.
Caithe
Orianna and Caithe only argue when they meet. Caithe’s stealthier tactics go against Ori’s personal code. If you’re going to kill someone the honourable way to go about it is straight forward and purely because of your own strength and skill. Sneak attacks aren’t honourable, Caithe! Caithe thinks Ori is a tool.
Niamh
Niamh and Orianna are both of the cycle of Noon, and get along swimmingly. As saplings, she Niamh and Riannoc would all spar and play fight. After Riannoc’s untimely passing, they both understood their original tactics weren’t enough. So when Niamh discovered her wyld hunt, Orianna stood with her the whole way. They don’t get the chance to talk much recently, but when they do they can talk for hours.
Aife
Orianna respects Aife’s skill as an archer and as a communicator. A shame her talents are wasted, instead of joining the wardens. Aife finds Ori to be rather reckless.
Kahedins
Oh joy, building houses and studying books. How dull. Orianna respects Kahedin’s wisdom, but his advice for how she can improve her life is not welcome. Even if he might be right.
Malomedies
The Asura made a grave mistake when they harmed Malomedies and then repeated it with the secondborn. While she would never defy her mother, she wishes she could’ve exacted revenge proper. Malo’s health was never the same after that incident, and Orianna is very protective of him when she visits. He wishes she had more faith in him.
Riannoc
It’s not fair.
Why did he have to die?
The Pale Tree
Orianna is fiercely loyal to the Pale Tree, and even idolizes her. She’d do anything for her mother, without question. Orianna being a Firstborn, the Pale Tree is biased toward her, and takes the time to let her visit whenever possible.
Faolain
Faolain was a traitor, good riddance.
Dagonet
Unless the humans were moments away from invading the Grove with weapons in hand, his time spent in Divinity’s Reach was wasted.
Wynne
Orianna is still bitter over the loss of Wynne. She can’t believe the centaurs would turn hostile and murder her like that. She’s mad Caithe and Faolain couldn’t save her.
