To tell you the truth guys, purchasing this CD was the first CD I purchased in my life. In all honesty, I never got to ask my parents for money to buy a CD, because of complex family situations, but now that I'm working, I was finally able to get what I wanted most for the first time ever. Why this album? It's to show support for the artist, Childish Gambino/Donald Glover. Majority of people may not like his new album for various reasons, but he's not for everyone, just like Chris Brown isn't for everybody, or country isn't for everybody. I was able to vibe with an artist's music the way I never had before. #Camp taught me to more or less accept myself for who I am and to open my eyes. #BecauseTheInternet made me feel what depression is like on a music level, the type of music that speaks to your soul and leaves you wondering. Made me feel his depression. #Kauai taught me that anybody can always come back. Better and wiser #AwakenMyLove revealed to me that he dedicated a few songs to his son, but also touched on the realities of living in our country as a #POC and to keep sight of your dreams, never let them go and keep chasing them.
