From @Chase_Sims5 via twitter...”a couple of my teammates and coaches went to mission peak. On the way down we saw a man in a wheelchair with his family. He congratulated us on making it up. Two of the younger members in his family made it to the top but due to his condition he originally thought he couldn’t. He told us that he made it all this way, so why not get to the top and asked if we were willing to help. We agreed, and helped someone for their first time and in a wheel chair get to the top of mission peak. It was an honor helping someone, and I learned and found out more about my self and the impact I can have not only in on individual but an entire community. Blessed ! I’m very humbled by everyone involved in this unforgettable journey up to the peak. Thank you for not given up. From the bottom of my heart God bless you all. . 🌎 🙏🏾 ✨Via @coachjohnbeam Outstanding young man right here! A lot of people talk about being leaders, freshman Eagle Chase Sims just showed it!
