Times are tough, but it helps see so many of my friends rising up and speaking out. This fight isn’t over. I’ve been on a emotional roller coaster the last few days (like a lot of folks I’m sure) but the shows must go on. It helps me to stay busy and to throw myself into work, fun, and connecting with my community. I’ll be at the @firstcitypridecenter Stonewall Anniversary Block Party today! Tongue: Open Mouth and Music Show has a small performance slot around 6pm and I’ll be presenting some poetry work and a small group of local artists. Then I’m on a fantastic @savannahcomedyunderground lineup tonight at @frontporchimprov theater at 10pm. So excited for that. Then I’ll probably mosey on over to my beloved @totallyawesomebarsavannah to see how @wrathnasty and @emmacosmello are getting along without me for the evening with karaoke. Today is about caring, community, and consideration for my local tribes.
