BREASTFEEDING 🤱 well what can I say It wasn’t for me? I think I stuck it out for about 6 weeks but after having someone suck on your breasts till your nipples crack and bleed Having mastitis in both breasts crying my eyes out whilst feeding him And then having to use a breast pump..... I gave up but... eh, breastfeeding just isn’t for everyone 🤷🏻♀️ Some women love it and literally will breastfeed their child till they go to school 😂 I think next time, personally, I’ll breastfeed for 2 weeks. I know babies need the goodness from your breasts but after that goodness is gone Give your boobies and body a rest Formula feeding really isn’t as bad as people make out I personally find Aptamil is the best but that’s just because it fills my little moo up I know some mums have issues with certain formulas and some babies can get quite sick from it but not to worry as doctors have special milk for your little ones For me breastfeeding takes time and patience Your baby is new to it and so are you I mean your baby will find its way to you, you just need to give them a little guidance The main concerns I had with breastfeeding was that I just didn’t know how much he was taking and if he had enough or if he was full or still hungry, Theo used to comfort feed so he breastfed to fall asleep or if he was grizzly he would breastfeed. I worried mainly when I was out in public and he would cry for food I wasn’t comfortable breastfeeding in public and found myself locking myself in the baby changing room to feed him and getting flustered when someone wanted to come in and then I would just end up rushing home feeling like a failure 😩 I’m lucky I had people close to me who told me not to stress and that I was doing a good job and that breastfeeding was hard but it made my baba happy and that’s all that mattered.
