On June 1, 2021, First Regional was honoured to participate in the Governor General's 'I Believe Initiative,' where students from the Brown's Town Community College were awarded scholarships towards their tuitions. The initiative which falls under the Governor-General's Programme for Excellence @theggpe "aims to encourage all Jamaicans to develop a sense of self-assurance and national pride."
