Also dad just...rly didn't want me to take the goldies I guess? And the tinfins were being awful...so they went back to the store and he's just keeping the goldfish and I'm just like. Wow I sure do love getting like, blamed for ~enabling dad and ~giving him ideas like, I'm just trying to work with what we have and make it better for the fish. In cases so far, that has meant putting them in separate tanks. Oh and now he's saying that I'm just trying to ~hijack all his fish, first the crayfish, now the goldfish, And yesterday I was like?? Frankly I was hoping the next tank I set up in there would be saltwater bc I wanna try that out but I want the goldfish to have a better environment for themselves and my room is the only space in this house I can rly offer up, there's not many other places to plausibly put a different tank, like maybe we could fit one in that front room, but we don't /dare/ bc that's like, mothers pet project that she wants to paint and get a new dining table and possibly new flooring and there has been grief in the past abt fish tanks preventing her from repainting/redoing rooms like that's. A big no no.

And I can't scale dimensions in my head so I don't even know if it would fit in my room, which feels like the only place to put it bc at least it's my space to sacrifice so my mom doesn't have to throw a fit over it :/
