Fisherman's Friends; One and All
In 2019, came the release of a true story about fisherman from a small community taking their sea shanties further than just the Cornwall.
Now in 2023, comes the story of those same fisherman and their journey from returning from touring to performing at Glastonbury in 2011.
One and All picks up sometime after the first one, picks up as the men are returning home and into the midst of still coming to terms with losing of there members; Peter Rowe, one of their founding members.
Throughout this story, we see Jim (James Purefoy) go through the grief and struggles with fame, questioning if he truly wants to keep this going after the passing of his father. After a short public outburst, Jim unfortunately steps away. With help from Aubrey Flynn; Imelda May, Jim returns to the band.
Just like the first story, the men are aiming for one true goal by the end of the story. In this one it’s their push towards Glastonbury.
Fisherman’s friends; One and All, is just as heartfelt and promising as the first movie. This one takes a dive into near mirroring the first Fisherman’s Friends and reminds us that music can come from anywhere and anything.
